The Chairman
- To be responsible for the overall welfare of the Group assisted by the Management
Committee but with the -
following specific duties. - Ensure that all General and Management Committee meetings are run in accordance with the Groups' constitution.
- Maintain order and ensure that Such meetings adhere to the agenda and laid down timescale.
- Represent the Group, along with the Vice Chairman, at meetings outside the Group with representatives and agents of other organisations who have business with the Group.
- This post will be a non voting position except in the case of a tied vote when the Chairman will have the casting vote. Any person acting in this position will be covered by the same arrangement
