Membership Details

Here you can find out about becoming a member of the Leighton Buzzard Drama Group. Our membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August each year. Members who have paid at the time of the AGM are entitled to stand and vote for committee and non-committee positions.

Membership Rates

Membership to the group is just £30includes the immediate member and any other one adult member of the same household so long as they appear on the membership list. You could see this as "two for the price of one"!

The reason for this offer is that many partners help at ‘get-ins and get-outs’ and other aspects of productions. Without the kind help of these members, much of what we do would not be possible. However, to be covered by the group's insurance, they must be members.

We have also agreed that this bonus membership entitles two adults (maximum) from the same household - providing that they are named on the membership list - to have a vote each at the AGM or at any other event where votes are cast. As always to have a vote the member must be present and membership fees up to date, postal and proxy votes are not allowed.

There is a £7.50 (per annum) membership rate for people who only wish to subscribe to Promptside. Please note that if you opt for this category and then decide you want to audition and get a part you will have to pay a further £22.50 to bring you up to full membership.

If you wish to pay by cheque please make it payable to LBDG and give it to one of the committee members.
