PLAY SELECTION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

1. Arrange and co-ordinate all meetings of the Play Selection Committee, working within the guidelines laid down by the Management Committee in relation to the broad Outline of the annual programme.
2. Liaise with appointed Directors regarding the selection of plays to be submitted to the Management Committee for approval.
3. Receive and co-ordinate the reading of selections put forward by members of the Group.
4. Put forward as requested Suitable material for play readings with a view to evaluation for future use by -the Group.
5. Endeavour to Put to the Management Committee sufficient material so as to enable them to make a selection 12 months in advance of production dates in order to allow for forward planning.
6. Appoint one members of their members to act as Secretary for the taking and production of minutes of all meetings.

PLAY SELECTION COMMITTEE

1. The Committee will consist of a Chairman Plus other members elected at the A.G.M.
2. The Management Committee shall have the right to replace any of the elected members if they prove to be unsuitable for the post.
3. The Play Selection Committee Members should where possible have experience of acting and or Stage Management along with knowledge of the practical resources of the Group and Sufficient time to perform the duties of the post, but this is not a pre requisite.
